This is such a fun time of year! Everyone is whimsically watching what the elf on a shelf is doing. I am loving watching all these fun ideas of what you can do with your elf.
Hiding your elf can be easy at first but the closer we get to Christmas the more tricky it can get.
This is where these fun and easy-to-implement ideas come in handy. If we all work together, the children can be amazed and delighted at this little tricky guy.
Put your elf in a situation where you kids must help him out!!!!
Like this one. About ready to be eaten by hungry dinosaurs, your kids will surely have to come to his rescue. Place him up high and put hungry animals (dinosaurs in this case) underneath.
Getting Into Things!
Did your elf just happen to fall into the wrapping paper, tape and scissors you left out? It looks like this one did.
That Is Just Twisted!
Yep, a good ‘ole fashioned game of Twister. Take a white piece of paper and draw green, yellow, blue and red circles (or get garage sale labels in these colors) and make your own elf sized Twister game. Put your elf in an interested and twisted position.
There are a ton of places that you can recreate a “fishing” scene in your home. This one looks like a bathroom sink. I love the fish in the sink and the appearance that he “caught one”. Have fun with this.
Do You Want To Build A Snowman?
Elsa and Anna would be thrilled with this one. This little guy is hiding in the oh-so-famous coffee keurig containers. Love the homemade snowman.
Drummer Boy, Anyone?
I love this one. Love the creativity of this homemade drum set. Cans, tape and popsicle sticks. It’s time to rock ‘n roll.
Time to Tone!!!
It is going to be the new year after all and it is time to tone up and get fit. The elf on a shelf isn’t void from getting buff in his own pint-sized gym. Thank goodness for mini-marshmellows.
You Can Not Have Too Much Self Care!!
The holidays can just be downright stressful. Even Santa’s helpers need to take a load off and relax a little now and then. Sugar bath, anyone?
Baby It’s Cold Outside!
It might or might not be snowing where you are at, but in elf land, it can ALWAYS be snowy and cold. Powdered sugar makes the perfect show like effect for this little man.
Please share your elf on a shelf pictures and ideas with us. Enjoy this holiday season having fun with the ones you love.
